India is a nation of deep diversity and as a nation has achieved many things in due course of India. For example, after 1947 this country has faced many upheaval tasks to accomplish; like poverty, malnutrition, education, health, sanitation, gender justice, law and order, rule of law, and just governance. In many fronts one can perceive some modest developments, in some areas, like education and poverty eradication, we have progressed slightly better than expected. But, the long road to success is still awaiting. This is not the time for complacency, but introspection and revision to carry forward the engine of growth. बदलाव की सुनके आहट वो दौड़ रहा है सरपट, अब भला आँख मूंद कर कौन सवेरा ढूंढ रहा है? शब्दों के बाण से वो करदे सबको घायल, पर प्यासे रहबर को भी वो सपने बेच रहा है। कल के गर्भ में जाकर किसने देखा है बसेरा, पर जो बीत गया है क्षण में उसकी पोथी बेच रहा है। भ्रमजाल में उलझा मन है, कुण्ठा से उजड़ा बगीचा, हर बात में कलह की रोटी बरसों से सेंक रहा है। बहने दो जमे हुए बर्फ़ को कल तैराक बहुत आएंगे, धारा को रोक के क्यों तुम फ़ासले उगा रहा है? हर ज़ख्म को भरने में कुछ वक़्त तो ज़रूर लगेंगे, तेरे दर्द की आँखे बनकर ये मौसम भींग रहा है।

It is noteworthy fact to suggest that our worldview is shrinking everyday. In recent few years emotional instincts of human beings have over-powered their capacity to reason and to appreciate fact. Most of the imaginations are limited to our personal achievements, instead of a worldview of sacrifice and commitment for the welfare of all. Undeniably, the emotional instinct is integral to a human's personality, but to allow it to overpower a sense of reason is troubling. The collective imagination is required to live by a sense of "scientific attitude", because it is "reason which unites us" and "emotion divides us" (J.J. Rousseau). Why am I arguing that the collective imagination is missing amidst chaos of personal cacophony? The answer lies in our attitude towards "Commons". कौन जीता कौन हारा? जीतता तो कोई भी नहीं हारता तो कोई भी नहीं जो बना था कभी शिद्दत से बिखरता ही गया जो जुड़ा था कभी फुर्सत से बिछड़ता ही गया कितने फूल कितने बाग चमन तो उजड़ता ही गया पानी को देखता हूँ इत्मिनान से बहता है ठहरने को कहता हूँ बिना सोचे वो चलता है मंज़िल के बसेरों से जाने क्यों डरता है राहगीरों की तरह ना जाने कितनी मंज़िल बदलता है बेचैनी कहाँ लिये घूम रहे हो? कभी धारा से सीखो जिसकी कोमलता भी पत्थर तराश लाती है जो प्रयासों से बचता है वो सिद्ध है जो माँगता नहीं उसे जगत मिल जाता है!
