If you want to have faith in innocence like a child, choose a friend like yourself. You won't get contaminated like a modern sophisticated man, who alienates oneself for symbolic life, arrested in language of money and power. The deep secret of modern life makes its secrets open for everyone to see its annihilatory character. A man runs after money, power, and position at the cost of loosing a life meant to feel and express. Man lives in a perpetual denial of oneself, suspends oneself for transitionary pleasures and in its suspension lives and dies a meaningless death. In search of meaning, he chooses to have more power, wealths, and fame and this narcissistic attitude becomes a burden to carry so long. Caste, class, gender, nationalistic ambitions are the by-product of self-annihilation of life itself. The construction of ego in the process of otherisation imprisons soul and compels it to live a life of slave. Ancient slaves were not allowed to be free. The discipline was imposed upon body. Modern slaves, on the contrary, remains encaged into an "iron-cage of rationality", which is produced tactically to imprison minds and souls of men. To be free is a challenge for modern man. Because, dogmas are all around in all sorts of subtle and gross forms. To avoid a dogmatic posture one has to abandon the mass psychology and its constant appeal of immitation. Every standard manufactured by masses is problematic. Freedom is all about rejection of mental slavery so as to think and live a life of its own. Life doesn't require accumulation of symbols. It's beautiful and alive like ever before but its sublime nuances can't be felt and experienced by men of compulsions who compromise life for the sake of career. Career is antithesis to freedom. It's a burdensome baggage which is required to be abandoned as soon as possible. To uphold career, man suspends the realisation of life. In the end, all names are grasped by time. No glory can survive in the vastness of history. No name can live a life of eternity. It's illusion to live and die for names. The self-hallucination is a danger in which a man is in for life without understanding its subtle overpowering capacity to imprison the beauty of life.

He did his Master of Laws from Harvard Law School in 1980-81 and taught by one of the finest jurists of the last century, Roberto Unger. He became Senior Advocate in 1993 in the age of 37 and also served as Solicitor General of India in 2011 before he was elevated as a judge of the Supreme Court of India in 2014. He delivered many landmark judgments, including Shreya Singhal v. Union of India. There are a few people with whom time moves too fast, but to count that experience takes ages. Justice Rohinton Nariman is one of those great jurists with whom a meet...
